Day 3- Covering Ground

Parked and camped in pagosa last night along the San Juan River, enjoyed a deliciuos meal of green beans and ranch style beans (forgot how good those were), tapped the Rockies with a few Coors Original and crashed pretty hard, needed to catch up on sleep after my night in the San Juan Forest. I am in Durango right now, having some coffee and relaxing a bit..I realized yesterday my permit for Yosemite starts on Friday, so have a lot of ground to cover in a short time. Heading to Great Basin Nat park today for 2 nights stay, laundry and fishing..Walker lake, Nevada Thur night, then Mather, CA for a 3-4 trip in Yosemite amongst the bears and who knows what else..Not sure if I will have any internet access after today but will see what happens..If not, I will post pics from yesterday between July 21 around the 22nd..Looking forward to a challenging trip in cali and some good rest in between..Talk to you all soon!

Day 1-Pagosa Springs

After an amazing weekend with the boys in Santa fe (thanks again Ponce), I have made my way to Pagosa Springs. Small little town about 45 minutes from Durango. The drive from SF was beautiful..About 30 minutes after I post this, I need to stock up on aloe and sunscreen, my face looks like fire..but, I will enter the San Juan national forest for a couple of days. Phones dont work well unless I am right in the middle of town. I will let someone know what access I take and when I should make it back..Pics to come later..Hope everyong is doing well
